Graham Norton has announced that he’s stepping down from his Radio 2 show at the end of the year.

The Irish presenter currently hosts a weekly show on Saturday mornings, which he’s done since 2010.

After 10 years, it’s now been revealed that Graham will present his final instalment of it on 20 December.

He said: “Obviously I’m sad to be stepping away from my Radio 2 show. I’ll miss being a part of the Wogan House family, as well as the listeners and their lives.

“I’d like to thank my producer Malcolm Prince and all the teams I’ve worked with for a great decade of radio.”

Ten years after presenting his first Saturday morning show on Radio 2, @grahnort has decided to leave the network later this year.

We wish him the best of luck for the future ❤️

Graham did insist that he wouldn’t be leaving the BBC, though, insisting he’d continue to present Eurovision and his BBC One talk show, as well as judging on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

“Happily with the chat show, Eurovision and Drag Race, the BBC continues to be my perfect TV home,” he added.

After presenting from home during coronavirus lockdown, Graham returned to host his talk show from the studio last month, albeit with all guests at a safe two-metre distance, and some continuing to appear via video-link.

Since the news broke that England went back on London, Graham will be able to continue presenting from the studio, although he will no longer have a studio audience.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed earlier this week that Graham would be back on the panel of Drag Race UK when it returns for its second series next year, alongside fellow returning panellists RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Alan Carr.
