Grammar Schools Is Trending On Twitter, But With The Wrong Spelling. Oh Sweet Irony.

"This shows exactly why we need to have more grammar schools."

Since Theresa May’s plan for ending the ban on grammar schools in England was revealed on Thursday, the debate has been raging and it’s no surprise it started trending on Twitter.

The only problem was - the hashtag was spelled wrong.

Yes, we see the irony.

Can't believe the little parliamentary time & will left over from #Brexit will be spent fighting this monster from the past #grammerschools

Many tweeters, even a Labour MP, contributed to the #grammerschools trend despite the obvious misspelling of the word “grammar”.

At least some people picked up on the error.
