After Years Of Hardship, Guys Are Taking Revenge By Stealing Their Girlfriends' Hoodies

It's payback time.

For years and years, women across the world have been stealing their boyfriends’ hoodies in a bid to keep warm.

But now, the guys want revenge.

In a hilarious U-turn, men are pinching their girlfriends’ (often tiny) hoodies and tweeting selfies with the hashtag #TakeHerHoodie.

It all began when Godswill Muofhe, 21, tweeted a series of pictures of him wearing women’s hoodies and jackets - all of which are rather snug.

He wrote: “Ladies, we’ve had enough. You can’t just take our hoodies this year without giving them back. This year we are fighting back. #TakeHerHoodie.”

His tweet was shared 41,000 times and it wasn’t long before other men joined the cause.

So. Much. Midriff. But we guess this kind of action was long overdue.

Muofhe told BuzzFeed that he never expected the hashtag to take off as much as it did.

He added that the movement was helping to challenge “toxic masculinity because for a lot of men it’s weird to wear clothing like that. It’s a bit taboo”.
