The New 'Top Cat' Halifax Advert Has One Fatal Flaw

Anyone who's been out and about today or watching the TV will probably have seen the new Halifax adverts featuring nostalgic cartoon Top Cat as part of the promotion - presumably some sort of meerkat inspired move by the bank.

It might all seem fine, using Top Cat to illustrate how "tip top" their service is, but tweeter Ricky Haggett has pointed out one monumentally fatal flaw:

Ah. Oops. Probably not best to use a character who lived in a bin to advertise mortgages.
