This past year, the almighty 2011, has been a rather tumultuous 365 days for me but one I shall look back upon fondly. I have battled with my more intransigent mental attitudes and explored various extremes of my nature.
At the start of the year I was still an addict with an over-abundance of inner conflict and an over-whelming desire to achieve. One journey took me into the depths of male escorting and I was paid for my body, another onto the holy grail of television the BBC to present a very clean cut weekend lottery show. I have performed more stand up comedy than ever before and still yearn to up the dates in 2012.
And I have finished the year with a life of celibacy, the writing of a comedy drama and bikram yoga.
And so 2012 begins and with this I must first give thanks.
