Girl band Little Mix has been less than complimentary when it comes to the latest show-stealer on ‘X Factor’ - Honey G.
The girls, who won the reality show contest back in 2011, were talking to Kiss FM yesterday, when they were asked their opinion of the female rapper, who’s stolen viewers’ hearts on this series.
Jesy Nelson sounded less than impressed when she answered, saying: “She’s just no. I think she’s an actress, I’ve been told she is as well.”
And Leigh-Anne Pinnock joined in the criticism, adding: “I’m all for entertainment, but I’m also all for real talent as well.”
Ouch!
Fortunately, Honey G has found her supporters in equal numbers, with some big names in there too, as she prepares to take to the stage again this weekend, she’s preparing her unique take on this week’s theme, Motown Classics.
What does the rapper have up her shiny sleeve? it has emerged the North Weezy rapper will be taking on Notorious B.I.G’s ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ (with a Diana Ross sample, naturally).
The Mirror reports that, away from the stage, Honey G aka Anna Gilford is a middle-class, former competitive tennis player from Harrow, who has a masters degree in management and runs her own recruitment company.
No less rapping royalty than Snoop Dogg has even stepped forward, promising Honey G he’ll duet with her if she gets as far as this year’s ‘X Factor’ final.
‘The X Factor’ airs tonight at 8pm. Little Mix were speaking to Rickie, Melvin and Charlie from the KISS FM Breakfast show
