House Condemns Trump Over Racist Tweets And He Turns It Into A Positive
US President Donald Trump has doubled-down on a tweet in which he singled out four Democratic Congresswomen, telling them to "go back" and "fix" the countries "from which they came". The House of Representatives formally condemned the statements, calling them racist. Trump tweeted that it was actually a win for him and his government, saying it was “so great to see how unified the Republican Party was”. The original tweet caused a furore on Capital Hill and abroad, with some politicians strongly condemning the President’s words as racist, while others were more cautious to directly label the US leader.
