Iman Pays Tribute To David Bowie With Her Necklace

Iman has revealed a touching way she is choosing to honour late husband David Bowie.

The supermodel attended Tom Ford’s New York Fashion Week party wearing a luxe blue velvet suit, teamed with a simple gold necklace reading ‘David’ in cursive script.

The delicate piece was created especially for Iman by photographer and designer Heidi Slimane.

And Iman has no plans to take it off. “I’m wearing this until my death,” she told Good Morning America’s Joe Zee at the event.

The NYFW bash was Iman’s first public appearance this year. Two months after losing Bowie to liver cancer in January, her mother Maryan Baadi also passed away.

“It’s been a tough year, but I’m holding up,” she added to Zee.
