ITV has confirmed the start date for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity, which will take place in the UK for the first time.

Due to coronavirus travel restrictions, the reality show is moving from its usual location in the Australian jungle to a new home at a castle in the Welsh countryside.

It’s now been revealed that viewers can look forward to seeing how these new changes play out when the show returns to our screens on Sunday 15 November.

Ant and Dec will once again be on presenting duties for the upcoming 20th series, which will be preceded by A Jungle Story, a highlights show looking back at some of I’m A Celebrity’s best ever moments, set to air the Sunday before the launch show.

It’s also been revealed that the pair took part in their first ever Bushtucker Trial as part of the one-off special, with them describing the experience as “just as hideous as we thought”.

Well, we did it. We finally got talked into doing a #BushertuckerTrial 😬🤢 Don’t ask how but rest assured it was as hideous as we thought! See the full trial, and take a look back at 19 series of #ImACeleb, on A Jungle Story, 8:10pm next Sunday, 8th Nov on @ITV @WeAreSTV 🕷🐜🐛 pic.twitter.com/55qmQGQGpB

Last month, a spokesperson for Gwrych Castle insisted that I’m A Celebrity would not be affected by the current lockdown situation in Wales, which is due to end on 9 November, days before the new series is set to begin.
