The conspiracy theories were flowing.

A TV debate audience member has hit out at "racists" on social media, after a heated exchange with Nigel Farage on last night's ITV EU Special lead to allegations she had been planted.

Imriel Morgan, who runs Shoutout Network and who has written blogs on The Huffington Post UK, became the centre of attention after the EU debate - which also included David Cameron - following a row with the Ukip leader that became a bitter back and forth...

In a further bizarre twist, the BBC was even drawn into the row over the makeup of the audience by a prominent Ukip MEP, despite the corporation having nothing to do with the broadcast.

The fact Morgan is a HuffPost blogger sparked a flurry of accusations the debate between Cameron (another HuffPost UK blogger) and Farage (also a HuffPost UK blogger) had somehow been rigged.

So the woman who accused Farage of being Waayciiist is a Huff & Puff writer & "diversity activist"

The accusation soon took on a far more sinister tone when accusations race was brought into the equation.

Rude woman who pretended to be offended by Farage was @ImiMorgan

England and Britain are worse places thanks to the likes of @ImiMorgan. She is the angry black woman who unjustly attacked @Nigel_Farage.

Such was the extent of the abuse, Morgan felt the need to respond with an eight-point list.
