Incredible Time-Lapse Video Shows Just How Quickly Kids Grow Up

Every week for the past 16 years, Dutch artist Frans Hofmeester has filmed 15 second videos of his daughter, Lotte.

This week, the dad released "Portrait Of Lotte," a compilation of all the clips, which he describes as the "ultimate coming of age time-lapse." The finished video shows Lotte's transformation from newborn to teenager.

Hofmeester wrote in the YouTube caption, "You are witness to one of the most mysterious, profound processes of human life -- growing up."
