Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson is about to receive a shout out from her ex, as Jake Roche is set to release a song about their split.
The Rixton frontman will reportedly spill the beans on their relationship in a new track that will be released today (2 December).
Jake hinted at the song when he posted a cryptic snap on Instagram, which had the words “I swear she’ll be the death of me” on it.
A source also told The Sun: “Jake has stayed silent since the split but he’s finally ready to speak his mind.
Speculation Jesy and Jake had split began after fans noticed she had unfollowed him on Instagram, while it was also noted he had removed a number of snaps of him with Jesy from his account.
She added fuel to the fire when she was later spotted not wearing her engagement ring while on a promotional tour of Australia.
Jesy’s Little Mix bandmates also dodged questions about the pair’s relationship in an interview with an Aussie radio host, giving the fiercest response.
A source then told The Sun the couple had actually split some time ago, stating: “Their relationship became strained and they grew apart. They started rowing and it became too much.
“It’s over as far as Jesy’s concerned and there’s no going back. The wedding is off and her engagement ring won’t be going back on.”
Jake proposed to Jesy in a very public way last year, when he popped the question on stage with a little help from Ed Sheeran.
During a live show, Ed performed an acoustic version of ‘Tenerife Sea’, which the couple used to refer to as “their song”, as Jake got down on one knee.
