Janet Jackson Makes Herself A Glastonbury Headliner As She Shares Photoshopped Line-Up Poster

It's truly inspired work, to be honest.

Janet Jackson has excitedly shared the Glastonbury line-up ahead of her first visit to the festival this year, but on closer inspection, fans noticed something a little strange about her post.

The US superstar tweeted the line-up poster on Monday night, but it seems someone has got a little creative with photoshop.

Here’s Janet’s poster:

And here’s the original:

Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2019 line-up poster, which includes our final two Pyramid Stage headliners: @TheKillers (Saturday) and @TheCure (Sunday). Many more acts and attractions still to be announced. pic.twitter.com/jYOoTQQurf

Can you see the difference?

In Janet’s version her name is first on the top row, cheekily giving the impression she’s headlining, when on the original poster, her name is at the other end of the line.

To be honest, we think it’s inspired work. No harm in giving yourself a little ego boost, is there?

Fans obviously noticed the alteration pretty quickly and had a chuckle or two:

Hahah Janet Jackson changed the glasto poster to make her the headline act when she was listed after Stormzy 😂 https://t.co/952j9gEAzk

Super clever. Getting the conversation going. Indirect publicity 😉 Love it! #MissJackson #janetjackson

Janet Jackson has edited the Glastonbury line up to put herself first. Howling. We, of course, stan. pic.twitter.com/ABzu6L8wH8

Janet isn’t the first star to utilise photoshop skills to bump themselves up a festival line-up either as last year, indie band The Sherlocks worked their magic on the Y Not poster.

After a fallow year, Glastonbury will be back on at Worthy Farm, Somerset, this June, with The Cure, The Killers and Stormzy headlining (despite what Janet might think).

Other acts performing include a host of female superstars – such as Kylie Minogue, Janelle Monae and Miley Cyrus – alongside newcomers Lizzo and San Fender.
