Katie Holmes has shared candid photos of a cuddle she shared with her daughter during her mum’s birthday celebrations.

The 37-year-old actress gave her followers a peek inside her mother-daughter relationship with the black and white snaps.

She posted them with a series of hashtags including: #gratitude #littleangels #blessed #family and #love.

Holmes also uploaded another photo showing her holding Suri and another child at the family birthday party, as well as a photo of the children dancing.

Suri is Holmes’ daughter with her ex partner Tom Cruise.

The couple divorced in July 2012.
