Keith Olbermann Says 'We Were Invaded' By Russia During The Election

The fact that “there was not blood on the streets” doesn’t change his conclusion, he says.

Keith Olbermann likened Russian efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential election to help Donald Trump gain power to an actual invasion.

“We were invaded, is what it boils down to,” GQ’s special correspondent said on Friday’s broadcast of “Real Time with Bill Maher.

The fact that “there was not blood on the streets” didn’t alter that conclusion, the former MSNBC and ESPN journalist added.

If the Russians had come in with Cossacks and put him in, I think we would have had a different kind of reaction to it,” he said. “That’s the reaction we need now.”
