Sorry, The Kenyan Branch Of Harrods Isn't Real

Spoiler alert: It's not.

Fans of one of London's most iconic high-end shops have been left stumped by the emergence of a "new branch" in Kenya.

Harrods tweeted on Thursday to quell any suspicions after they "received some enquiries regarding a Harrods store in Kenya" and said "we can confirm that it's not an official store".

We've received some enquiries regarding a #Harrods store in Kenya. We can confirm that it's not an official store. 😂 pic.twitter.com/Zg82oR9FIC

Despite having a few other branches at airports, the fine people at the flagship in Knightsbridge have confirmed they don't currently operate out of a corrugated iron hut in East Africa. Although we're not quite sure who they "received enquiries" from, because it's pretty obvious.

@Harrods I bet I'd get my teabags cheaper there.
