US comedian Kevin Hart is reported to have been left with major injuries after being involved in car accident in California.
According to a California Highway Patrol collision report, cited by Associated Press, Kevin was a passenger in a car that fell down an embankment in the hills above Malibu on Sunday.
The report says Hart and the driver, 28-year-old Jared Black, both suffered “major back injuries”.
Another passenger, 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman, only complained of pain.
The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda is reported to have gone immediately out of control as it turned from a canyon road on to the highway.
The report says the driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
HuffPost UK has contacted a spokesperson for Kevin for comment and is awaiting a response.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sent Kevin a touching message following reports of the car accident.
The pair have a long-standing friendship after starring alongside one another in numerous films including Jumanji and Central Intelligence.
Alongside a photograph of the pair from Jumanji, The Rock wrote: “Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real. We have a lot more laughing to do together.
“Love you man. Stay strong,” he added.
