A Finish schoolboy has earned a cool $10,000 after uncovering a serious flaw in photo app Instagram.
At 10-years-old, the boy isn't eligible to have his own account yet nonetheless spotted an error which allowed him to delete text from users' posts.
Jani, whose last name has been withheld by his parents, was rewarded the five-figure sum as part of the "bug bounty" programme run by Instagram's owner Facebook.
The boy told Instagram officials that he could delete text on any post including the app's top users like Justin Bieber, Finnish news site Iltalehti reported.
His father admitted to having found problems in other websites before, yet none were significant enough to warrant a pay out.
Many reports made to Facebook are invalid, but last year some 526 turned out to be true errors and problems.
In 2015, Facebook paid out close to $1 million dollars to those who uncovered flaws in its systems, according to Mashable.
