Kim Kardashian has announced the arrival of her new baby boy, born via surrogate, on Friday.
The reality TV star tweeted: “He’s here and he’s perfect.”
The baby is Kim and Kanye West’s fourth child. He is brother to North, five; Saint, three; and Chicago, 15 months. And frankly, after all the furore about Baby Sussex, we can’t wait to hear what they call this little boy.
Kardashian decided to use a surrogate after suffering with health issues with her first two pregnancies, including preeclampsia and placenta accreta. Doctors warned the couple it wouldn’t be safe for her to carry another child.
“I love my surrogate. We have a really good relationship. I really trust her and I definitely see the first time I went through it I was a little more anxious,” Kardashian told Entertainment Tonight. “I feel like my surrogate this time around really is such a protecting person. I feel really calm and at ease.”
