Kylie Minogue Is Reunited With Her ‘Neighbours’ Co-Star Guy Pearce (And Dannii Minogue’s Ex-Husband) On The Set Of ‘Flammable Children’

Fancy seeing you here!

Kylie Minogue has been reunited with not one, but two men from her past on the set of her latest film.

Not only is the 48-year-old singer starring alongside her old ‘Neighbours’ co-star Guy Pearce in the 1970’s-set comedy ‘Flammable Children’, but also her sister Dannii Minogue’s ex-husband, Julian McMahon.

It’s the first time Kylie and Guy have shared screen time since they played Charlene Robinson and Mike Young in the Aussie soap back in the late 1980s, whilst former ‘Home & Away’ star Julian was married to Dannii between 1994 and 1995.

You’d be forgiven for not recognising any of them though thanks to Kylie’s wig, Guy’s blonde dye job and Julian’s handlebar moustache as they filmed a beach scene in Queensland on Wednesday.

‘Flammable Children’ is a comedy by Stephan Elliott, who is best known for directing the 1994 film, ‘The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’, which also starred Guy.

Set in 1975, the coming-of-age tale centres around two teenagers who witness a blue whale being washed up on a local beach.

Screen Australia CEO Graeme Mason described the movie as “smart and funny, with a distinctly nostalgic flavour.”

It’s set to hit cinema screens next year.
