‘Celebs Go Dating’ has axed one of its romantic experts, Lady Nadia Essex.
A Channel 4 spokesperson told HufPost UK: “Nadia has been suspended following improper use of social media.”
While production on the fifth series of the E4 show is currently underway, it is understood that Nadia will now only appear in a handful of episodes.
There has been no word of who will replace her, while Nadia herself is yet to comment on her suspension.
HuffPost UK has reached out to a spokesperson for Lady Nadia Essex for further comment.
Nadia has been a dating expert on all four series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’, alongside co-star Eden Blackman, who recently stepped down from the reality series amid reports of an on-set feud.
He has been replaced by Paul Carrick Brunson, who runs the matchmaking firm, PCB Agency.
The upcoming series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ will air later this year, with its famous participants including former ‘Love Island’ contestants Eyal Booker and Olivia Attwood, ‘TOWIE’ cast member Chloe Sims and ex-Sugababes singer Mutya Buena.
Also taking part are ‘Gogglebox’ star Amy Tapper and Diversity dancer Sam Craske.
Tom Read Wilson is also returning, with his role in the show having been bumped up from receptionist to junior client coordinator in the lead-up to the fourth series earlier this year.
