With the weather as terrible as it has been in recent times, the forecast doesn’t really make for enjoyable viewing at the moment.
That is except for Laura Tobin’s forecast on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain, which definitely helped brighten an otherwise gloomy day.
The forecaster had a serious case of the giggles as she delivered her weather update on the ITV breakfast show.
Laura admitted she’d been told a hilarious joke during the break prior to her going on camera, and struggled to hold things together as she spoke.
“I’m so sorry. This is so unprofessional. I’m sorry,” she said as she continued to giggle.
GMB presenter Susanna Reid could be heard laughing across the studio, and told Laura after she’d managed to get through her forecast: “Don’t worry. No one noticed.”
Co-presenter Ben Shephard, who we suspect just might have had something to do with the laughing fit, joked: “We’ll get to the bottom of this.”
Ben had returned to the daytime show after two months off to film new episodes of ITV gameshow Tipping Point.
Elsewhere on the show, Kate Garraway also voiced her anguish at US president Donald Trump’s latest comments about coronavirus.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
