Given they are currently bubbled up together on set in Northern Ireland, the Line Of Duty cast are having to come up with new ways to keep themselves entertained during their down time.

And like many of us did during lockdown, Martin Comptson and Adrian Dunbar are now discovering the joys of TikTok, thanks to co-star Vicky McClure.

The trio – who play DS Steve Arnott, Superintendent Ted Hastings and DI Kate Fleming respectively on the BBC cop show – busted out some hilarious moves on the video sharing site.

Sharing the clip, Vicky wrote: “Breaking these two gently into TikTok! When I’m down I’m gonna watch this on loop!!” along with a laughing emoji.

She also tweeted it, adding: “Good day at work with my besties!”

Earlier this week, the show’s creator and writer Jed Mercurio sparked a theory about series six among fans, after tweeting a series of behind-the-scenes pictures.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed a tiny detail in the snaps that suggests one character has either been demoted, or is heading undercover.

Filming on the sixth series of Line Of Duty resumed in August, having previously been suspended after four weeks back in March, due to the pandemic.

Bosses are aiming to complete filming in the hope of airing the series in early 2021.

It was previously confirmed that Kelly Macdonald has joined the cast, playing Detective Chief Inspector Davidson, who had been dubbed the “most enigmatic adversary AC-12 have ever faced”.
