People Have Eaten Their Entire Advent Calendars Already (Because Chocolate)

Chocolate 1 : 0 Willpower

On the morning of 1 December, many jumped at the chance to open the first window of their advent calendars.

But for some, the temptation was too much.

A crappy 2016, combined with a severe lack of willpower on the nation’s part, has resulted in many eating the entirety of their advent calendars (or at least a good few day’s worth of choc) in one go.

Yes we know it’s against the rules. But, chocolate.

Many of the perpetrators took to Twitter to share their feelings of remorse and shame.

If I've already eaten half the chocolates in my advent calendar, does that make me a bad person??😳😳😳 I am so ashamed. pic.twitter.com/SdBQ7AqS9Z

The controversial move from what appears to be a large group of people on Twitter has resulted in others taking to social media to express their disgust.

One person branded the chocolate-eaters as “deprived”.

People saying they've already eaten their advent calendar, how deprived are you, you know chocolate is a thing you can have all year, right?

Another found the whole thing ludicrously funny.

As if some people have already eaten their entire advent calendar 😂
