Eliminated Love Island star Arabella Chi has insisted she has no regrets in coupling up with Danny Williams, after being axed from the show.
Arabella had a short, but nonetheless controversial, time in the villa, after making a beeline for Danny, despite the fact he was partnered with fan favourite Yewande Biala at the time.
Yewande was eventually dumped from the Island when Danny chose to ditch her in favour of Arabella.
However, in her post-exit interview, the model has insisted she has no regrets over how things played out and would “100%” choose to couple up with Danny again.
“I found somebody that I had a romantic connection with,” she said. “I was attracted to him before I even went in the villa. Getting to know him more and more those feelings developed every day.”
Asked about her most “challenging” moment in the villa, Arabella admitted she found the night of Yewande’s elimination and the ensuing “tension with the other girls” difficult, noting: “I knew there would be friction but at one point it felt like the villa was very divided, after Yewande left.
“It felt like I was being looked at as a big bad wolf, even though I had just gone in there and followed my feelings.”
“I think I did everything in the right way,” she added, when asked whether she stood by all of her decisions in the villa.
“Going in there I knew it would be difficult going for Danny but I did it the right way. I had a chat with Yewande first. All the girls reassured me when I left that I had done everything right.
“I feel like everybody saw me and Danny blossom so will understand we were right for each other.”
Shortly after her elimination, Yewande admitted she didn’t see Arabella and Danny going the distance, saying she felt that as the pair got to know each other, things would fizzle between them.
Arabella was eliminated alongside Tom Walker, who expressed his regret over his infamous row with Maura Higgins earlier this week.
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
