Ex-Love Islander Charlie Frederick has denied that he’ll be returning to the show as part of the Casa Amor twist.
Charlie, who took part in the 2018 series, has two former flames in the current incarnation of the show, Lucie Donlan and Arabella Chi.
After hitting headlines earlier this week when he claimed he was still seeing Arabella and had no idea he was going on the show, many fans wondered if Charlie would get the chance to confront her (or rekindle the relationship) on screen.
But posting on his Instagram Story, he’s denied claims that will be the case.
In a video of himself in bed, he said: “Do I look like I am in Casa Amor? Absolutely not. I am in London, relax yourselves.”
Charlie also sought to clarify reports about his relationship with Arabella, stating they “were never girlfriend and boyfriend”.
“We were seeing each other, we were getting together, we were working out what was going on, what we both wanted etc,” he said. “We were never girlfriend and boyfriend.”
When Arabella entered the villa, Charlie shared his shock with fans and claimed they had seeing each other “on a serious level”.
Accusing her of “completely disregarding my feelings and our relationship or what we had”, he added: “I feel like I’ve been completely mugged off.”
As always, the upcoming Love Island twists and tasks are being kept under wraps by bosses but it’s thought that the popular Casa Amor twist will be making a comeback.
