Turns out no-one knew what The Eagle is.

Love Island may have only been on our screens for two nights, but already one of the contestants has achieved something pretty impressive (although that might depend on your definition of impressive).

Curtis Pritchard somehow managed to bring down an entire sex website after making a rather saucy confession on Tuesday night’s show.

The professional ballroom dancer caused a surge in Google searches after revealing his favourite sex position was The Eagle during the first challenge of the series.

With many viewers seemingly in the dark over what exactly The Eagle is, they rushed to their phones to seek answers.

However, in doing so, they managed to crash a particular website – SexInfo101 – with many taking to Twitter to say how the site was down due to “heavy load”.

A quick look at Google Trends shows the massive spike in people searching for what the position was, with the peak coming at 9.48pm.

The most searches came in Northern Ireland, followed by Scotland, Wales and then England, with the most popular search term being “what is the eagle position”.

If you’re still in the dark as to what the position is, well, the site is back up and running now, so we’ll let you figure that one out for yourselves.

Elsewhere, Tuesday night’s episode also saw Curtis and fellow late-comer Tommy Fury decide who they were going to couple up with.

After much deliberation between Amy Hart and Yewande Biala, Curtis opted to chose Amy, making Anton Danyluk single in the process.

Meanwhile, Tommy coupled up with Lucie Dolan, who had awkwardly just shared her first proper kiss with Joe Garratt, and his face was an absolute picture after being left without a girl.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
