Following Joanna Chimonides’ recent elimination from Love Island, you may have noticed that numbers in the villa were finally starting to dwindle.
But while we thought things might be starting to die down as we gear up for the final in a couple of weeks, it seems producers still have a few surprises up their sleece.
In Monday’s instalment, Islander Michael Griffiths had to say goodbye to Joanna, after the remaining contestants decided to send her packing.
However, he needn’t be upset for too long, as it was announced at the end of the episode that there are two new contestants joining the villa, and they’ve both said that he’s their type.
The first of them, 20-year-old estate agent Harley Brash revealed: “I really fancy Michael but I think he is a bit misunderstood. He’s lovely to look at though, I could definitely just look at him!”
Similarly, 28-year-old model India Reynolds named Michael when asked to pick which of the remaining contestants have caught her eye.
He might have a bit of competition, though, as they also both spoke highly of Ovie Soko, who hasn’t exactly had the smoothest time in the villa romance-wise so far.
Harley and India will be joined by a third bombshell arrival in 24-year-old rugby player Greg O’Shea.
The Irish newcomer has predicted he’ll hit it off with Maura Higgins, noting: “She’s hilarious. She’s very naturally funny and she’s gorgeous as well so you never know.”
Greg describes himself as a 7/10 when it comes to looks, adding: “I broke my face a couple of months ago through Rugby so I had a broken nose and a cracked forehead! Before that happened I would say I was an 8… but now I’d dock myself down to a 7 with the broken face.
“The lads always say I give the girls a cheeky smile so that’s probably my best feature.”
Find out how Harley, India and Greg get on with the rest of the Islanders in Tuesday’s Love Island, at 9pm on ITV2.
