Just when it looked like the Love Island couples were starting to settle down, a new bombshell is set to shake things up in the villa.
Bosses have revealed that 21-year-old Rebecca Gormley from Newcastle will be making her way into the South African residence in Monday night’s show.
Her arrival could well spell trouble for some of the existing couples, as the carer and part-time model revealed she has her eye on some of the lads.
Rebecca admitted she currently fancies Connagh Howard, Callum Jones and Mike Boateng, who are coupled up with Sophie Piper, Shaghna Phillips and Leanne Amaning, respectively.
Of her ideal type, Rebecca says: “I like a ‘Jack the lad’. He’s got to be the centre of attention easy to get along with, and someone who gets involved with the chat.”
The former Miss Newcastle rates herself as an “8.5, maybe a 9” out of 10, and says her best features are her “eyes or boobs”.
She adds: “I’m fun, I’m loud, I’m outgoing, I’m fearless and spontaneous.”
Sounds just like what the villa needs, as so far, the winter series of Love Island has failed to reach the heights of last summer’s run.
Ratings are currently down around a third on the 2019 series, with an average of just over two million people tuning in each night.
Love Island continues on Monday night at 9pm on ITV2.
