There have been many shows that have adapted to include Covid-19 into their storylines, but one thing weβve long been pondering is how various classic comedy characters would have been dealing with the pandemic.
But thanks to social media impressionist Lucia Keskin, those questions have been answered.
She has filmed an incredible eight-minute long video revealing what would be happening if various sitcoms were set during the pandemic.
Lucia puts her spin on shows including Gavin & Stacey, who have been separated due to lockdown, with Nessa coming up with her own vaccine that sheβs selling on eBay.
The Officeβs David Brent has been adapting to home working, while is obviously relishing in spending lots of time indoors with her fruit friends.
Absolutely Fabulous is renamed Absolutely Jabulous β with Saffy dishing out some excellent barbs to a βclinically vulnerableβ Patsy β while The Vicar Of Dibleyβs Alice has got the wrong end of the stick when it comes to how the virus spreads.
Other shows parodied include Outnumbered, Derry Girls, The Inbetweeners and The IT Crowd.
As the video went viral on Twitter, it soon caught the attention of many of the real-life sitcom stars Lucia takes off.
Gavin & Stacey star Rob Brydon called it βso impressiveβ, while co-star Mathew Horne called Lucia βdynamiteβ.
Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan retweeted the video along with the caption βexcellenceβ, and the Channel 4 sitcomβs creator Lisa McKee called it βoutstandingβ.
