She has one of the most famous mothers on the planet, but it was Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon’s turn to take centre stage at New York Fashion Week this week.
The 22-year-old, whose father is Cuban actor Carlos Leon, was spotted in the front row of the Proenza Schouler show.

Earlier this year Madonna admitted it would be “less challenging” for her children if they didn’t have her as a mother.
As well as Lourdes, Madonna has a biological son Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and four adopted children from Malawi – David, Mercy and twins Estere and Stella.
The singer says her offspring sometimes find it difficult having one of the most famous people on the planet as a mum.
Speaking on the Graham Norton Show, she said: “I think they wish I wasn’t Madonna. I think it would be less challenging in their minds if they didn’t have me as their mother.”
