Citizens of a Swedish town were shocked to see "hardcore porn" on electronic advertising boards this weekend after hackers exploited a security breach.
Advertising company Global Agencies said they have launched an investigation after the jokesters were able to gain access to their systems and broadcast popular prank website Meatspin to bystanders on the streets of Malmö.
The electronic advertising space was located close to a bus stop at Malmö's central station.
"It was seriously hardcore porn," Maria Escalante told Aftonbladet.
"There was a group of guys standing there watching and I asked them if it had been going on for a while. They said it had."
Escalante went on to say the kerfuffle caused he to miss her bus and she was therefore forced to watch the pornography for another 15 minutes.
"The system should be secure and right now we can't answer how someone managed to hack it," Global Agencies spokesperson Roger Starck said.
"I'm incredibly angry about this all, it should never have been able to happen."
