A 23-year-old man has been stabbed to death at a youth club in London.
Police attended the incident, along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, in Minet Road, Lambeth, at 6.45pm but the victim died at the scene.
His next of kin have been told and officers are “confident” they know the identity of the deceased.
The Met Police’s Homicide and Major Crime Command will be leading the investigation, but no arrests have yet been made.
A number of detailed forensic and CCTV footage-related enquiries are in hand and police are appealing for information.
Detectives are particularly keen to hear from those who were at the youth club – which was open at the time of the attack.
