We've all been guilty of spending a few quid at the fairground to win a prize, but one man's quest for a cuddly toy set him back a whopping £160.
But this isn't just a story about hard work and empty wallets, it's also a tale about romance.
Why? Because he won the prize for his wife.
N'aww.
Filipe Lucas, 19, and his wife Mariem, 18, had spent the day at Thorpe Park. As they were leaving, Filipe decided that he wanted to win her a present.
But, as we all know, these fairground games are never easy, so Filipe ended up spending a fair whack trying to secure the prize.
Filipe explained on Twitter he did it all to make his wife happy.
"I made a promise to her once and it was that I would never disappoint her or let her down and I'm sticking to that forever," he tweeted.
Filipe and Mariem married a few months ago, after being together for three years.
Speaking to BuzzFeed about the prize win, Mariem said: “It was overwhelming. He’d lost so many times, I could see the frustration on his face. I knew he was happy when he came back. He’s always doing little romantic gestures like that.”
Adorable.
