Two teenage boys have been arrested after a man suffered life-threatening head injuries outside a McDonalds restaurant.
The incident happened on the High Street in Hadleigh, Essex, just before 9pm on Saturday.
The man is currently in hospital.
One of the boys, a 13-year-old from Leigh-On-Sea, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Another boy, 15, from Benfleet in Essex, was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, assault with intent to resist arrest and assisting offenders, Essex Police said.

Both are in custody.
