Known for its castles and picturesque fishing villages (just look at those colourful houses), the Isle of Skye was featured in Rightmove’s list of the 10 most desirable places to live, alongside places like Woolacombe and St Ives.
The results stemmed from a survey of almost 24,000 people, who all seemed to prioritise living in areas where house prices were slightly cheaper than the national average.
