Motsi Mabuse has deleted her Twitter account after being targeted by trolls on the social media platform.

After the Strictly Come Dancing judge was criticised by some viewers over her scores and comments over the weekend, she announced she was leaving Twitter.

She wrote: “I’ve decided to leave Twitter!! It’s been fun but I truly think with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.. it’s enough social media. Please keep up my #strictlykindess hashtag!! You know where to find me.”

Motsi removed her entire account, so everything she has ever tweeted has now been deleted.

On Sunday, JJ Chalmers became the sixth celebrity to be voted off Strictly.

The athlete and TV presenter and his partner Amy Dowden were booted off the BBC ballroom competition during Sunday night’s results show.

The couple had to face Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer in this week’s dance-off.

This weekend’s results show also saw professionals Johannes Radebe, Gorka Marquez and Giovanni Pernice transformed into drag queens as they paid tribute to Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert in the group dance.

They kicked things off wearing denim and plaid dancing to the Village People’s Go West, before changing to full drag as CeCe Peniston’s Finally kicked in.

Their trousers were then ripped off to reveal mini dresses, as they served looks and choreography complete with rainbow-coloured fans.

Meanwhile, HRVY was praised for performing the “dance of the decade” during Saturday’s live show, topping the leaderboard with 29 points for his American Smooth routine.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
