Donald Trump thanked Pittsburgh Steelers fans for their “great reception” to his gameday visit on Sunday despite at least one person in the crowd greeting him with two middle fingers.

The GOP nominee, who was booed by some fans who told him to get “outta town,” got a mixed reaction as he dropped by the Steelers’ game against the New York Jets at Acrisure Stadium after a busy day on the campaign trail that included a staged McDonald’s shift.

Video shows the former president waving from a private suite at the stadium as one fan wearing sunglasses gives him a pair of one-finger salutes and seemingly booed him as a “U-S-A” chant broke out, according to a clip originally shared by Trump campaign staffer Margo Martin.

Another person is then seen confronting the fan and bringing their arms down.

At least one other fan at the NFL game appears to have flipped off Trump, too, according to an Associated Press photo and a clip shared by the GOP nominee on his Truth Social platform.

“Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight,” wrote Trump, who was the guest of an unidentified suite holder at the game.

The former president hasn’t always been a fan favorite at football games.

Some college football fans flipped him the bird while others hurled a mix of boos and cheers at him during a visit to an Iowa vs. Iowa State game last year.

A pro-Trump account on X would later receive criticism for appearing to remove boos from a clip of the crowd.
