Ollie Locke has revealed he intends to change his name and go double-barrell when he marries his new fiancé.
Nothing noteworthy or unusual about that, right?
Well, apart from the fact that the ‘Made In Chelsea’ star’s fiancé’s name is Gareth Locke. So he’s planning to change his name to Ollie Locke-Locke.
Explaining his decision to become a Locke-Locke, Ollie told Hello! magazine: “I like the idea that his family and my family will be joined together.”
Ollie and Gareth announced their engagement in the Times last week, having already known each other for a decade before getting together earlier this year, when they spent the weekend at a mutual friend’s home.
Discussing the proposal, Ollie said: “We decided to go for a lovely walk with Bear [their dog] in Kensington Park Gardens which is my favourite park and we came across the Peter Pan statue, which is my favourite statue.
“I walked towards Gareth who was just standing there and he gave me a hug…”
He added: “I thought he was the one very early on [in the relationship]; I was pretty sure that this was something that would be for the rest of my life.”
Ollie is best known for his stint on the docusoap ‘Made In Chelsea’, during which time many of his storylines revolved around his ill-fated romances.
He later appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, ‘Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls’ and the E4 dating show ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
