It lands in stores this Sunday (2 June) and is available while stocks last. Admittedly not a paddling pool, but great fun for kids and adults.

Happy to downsize by a couple of feet (and a lot of money)? This Intex easy set-up pool is worth a punt. It takes about 10 minutes to build – simply inflate the top ring, fill with water and watch the pool take shape as the water level rises. It’s also easy to drain and store. Winning.
Chad Valley Rectangular Paddling Pool, Argos, £18
More reminiscent of a dinghy than a pool, this inflatable number is perfect for compact spaces as it measures 211cm in length, 132cm in width and it’s only 46cm deep. It can hold up to 450 litres of water.

If you’re after a little bit of luxury (emphasis on the little), this family pool – measuring 213cm in length – from B&Q comes with built in cushions, headrests and cup holders. You’ll basically feel like you’re on holiday.
