Piers Morgan Suggests Deporting 'White Trash Racists' To Make Room For Refugees

'What are we becoming, seriously?'

Piers Morgan has suggested the way to make room for Syrian refugees in the UK is to “deport all the white trash racist scum”.

The journalist and presenter was adding to the debate around calls for dental checks to determine the age of child refugees when he lamented the political climate of Britain.

The woman in this disgusting video is what Britain's really about, not MPs demanding teeth checks on young refugees.pic.twitter.com/K7hPlAANx3

Makes me ashamed of my country. What are we becoming, seriously? https://t.co/Suyi2onIUg

His tweets prompted accusations of ignorance of the real issues and “virtue-signalling”.

@piersmorgan Do you think refugees/immigrants themselves aren't racist though? Try living in Bradford. You don't have a clue

— Jack Gillespie (@jackgillespie92) October 22, 2016

@jackgillespie92 @piersmorgan Agreed. I lived in Bradford. These celebs love virtue signalling because they've never lived amongst it.

Morgan disagreed and responded by briefly detailing his experience before making his suggestion to solve the entire issue.

I live in West London. Most people working in my area are immigrants. They do a fantastic job for their customers & this country. https://t.co/qzdMgVOWbe

The way to make room in Britain for desperate refugees is to deport all the white trash racist scum.

— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 22, 2016

Many people took issue with his statement.

@piersmorgan Don't kid yourself Piers. Very few Muslims are fleeing persecution. Most are economic migrants.

@piersmorgan @evanssmd Why do luvvies keep on talking out of your backsides you're the racist in calling white people trash. Pot kettle.

— kevin william hayes (@kevin0u) October 22, 2016

@piersmorgan why don't you do us all a favour and fuck off back to America, one extra place available then

— Josh Brooks (@JBEE_DJ) October 22, 2016

But Morgan was ready to hit back.

I'm in America. https://t.co/zl0dfMBLSG

@piersmorgan y shud the refugees be allowed here in the 1st place not their country

— paul ward (@paulmufc05) October 22, 2016

Because we illegally bombed the crap out of Iraq, which led to Middle East turmoil, then war in Syria, now refugee crisis.
That's why. https://t.co/t6SXj22Wql

— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 22, 2016

@piersmorgan I assume you are talking about throwing out the indigenous population. That in itself is racist.

— Evs (@evanssmd) October 22, 2016

No, just the white trash racist scum indigenous population. https://t.co/6VpEOUqU4O

The row over child refugees has been rumbling all week, led by Gary Lineker who has been embroiled in a bitter dispute with The Sun.

Lineker is nominated in the “best presenter” category in the National Television Awards to be held on 25th January.

The Sun is a partner for the event alongside eight others and quite a few people have used social media to urge people to vote for the former England player.

Come on, Twitter, mobilise!Vote for @GaryLineker https://t.co/snkjP2s9Ma
