Pokemon Go has angered some fans with the latest app update after a glitch deleted all of their progress to date and sent them back to level one.
The new Nintendo update has made it harder for Pokemon fans to catch ‘em all after three weeks of hunting, hatching eggs and any money spent on additional features was all wiped.
The update, according to the Pokemon Go News Twitter account, was meant to allow users to re-customise avatars, refine gym animations, improve memory issues, update medals and fix other smaller bugs.
As well as add warnings such as “don’t drive” and “don’t trespass” while playing the augmented reality game.
However the changes were a little further reaching than most had hoped for and now users have since taken to social media to vent their frustration.
Although Pokemon Go is free to download, there is the option to spend money on additional features and some have called on Niantic, the game’s developer, to refund money because of the problems.
And for the fans whose accounts had remained in tact, many were annoyed by the removal of several key features, including the step counter.
