Prince George made his mark as one of the most adorable royals ever as he said goodbye to Canada.

The family had finished their eight-day royal tour of the country, which included Princess Charlotte’s first ever royal engagement and her brother George’s second.

The toddler gave the country the sweetest farewell by demonstrating that he has started to perfect his royal wave.

Pilot Shawn Stewart, 38, from Victoria, who flew the plane back to England said the three-year-old had a whale of time as they headed back.

Stewart said George was extremely excited and looked out of the window for the whole flight.

Stewart told The Mirror: “After we landed, once the co-pilot got out, George climbed up into the seat... Kate said: ‘Where are you going to fly us? Are you going to fly us to Canada?’

“And George said: ‘No I’m going to fly us to England’.” Aww.

On his last day in Canada, the prince managed to shun a high five for the second time during the trip.

The three-year-old, who famously ignored Canada’s Prime MInister Justin Trudeau’s attempt to engage with him, also ignored a high five offered by Canadian schoolboy Daniel Brachman before he left.
