Princess Charlotte Twinning With The Queen Shows Us Fashion Comes Back Around

Twinning is winning 🙌

If you can’t twin your outfit with your grandma (or great-grandma), who can you twin with?

That’s the question we’re left asking ourselves now we’ve seen these adorable new photos of Princess Charlotte.

In the candid snaps, the little royal, who has just turned four, shows she has definitely inherited the Queen’s sense of style. And the pair look so alike, you could be mistaken for thinking they’re the same cute tot.

Much is being made of how similar Princess Charlotte looks in her 4th birthday pictures released today - to someone else in her family. (That’s the Queen in the 1930s).
Happy birthday from all of us

In two of the shots of Princess Charlotte, she’s wearing a tartan dress with a grey cardigan – almost an exact copy of the outfit worn by HRH, who’s now 93, when she was roughly the same age.

In a photo taken in 1936, Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret can be seen playing with one of the family corgis – while wearing that familiar outfit.

And, in the third official photograph released to celebrate the Princess’s birthday, she looks strikingly similar to Queen Elizabeth in 1936 – except for one thing, her cool trainers.

Goals.
