Robbie Williams is working on a comeback single, according to reports, but anyone hoping for some ‘Angels’-esque crooning is about to be let down.
While the former Take That star hasn’t said anything about new material, rapper Big Narstie has dished the dirt, following a studio session with Robbie.
Robbie and Big Narstie might seem an unlikely duo, but it gets weirder, as they were joined by none other than Shirley Bassey.
“I got a call saying Robbie wanted to do a song with me and Shirley,” Big Narstie explained to The Sun.
So just to recap, that’s: Robbie + Craig David’s BFF + Welsh diva + Superstar DJs = pop banger.
Let’s just say we’re... intrigued.
Robbie has been lying low recently, though last month it was reported that he’s in talks to rejoin Take That (again) for an anniversary concert.
Howard discussed the plans during an appearance on ‘Lorraine’, telling the presenter: “We’ve been talking to Robbie about it, and it might be that if we do a 25th anniversary album, that we do some co-writing or some extra tracks on that.”
