The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aren’t known for their public displays of affection, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

So, when Prince William and the former Kate Middleton were pictured holding hands in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle before Friday’s royal wedding between Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank, it inevitably set Twitter alight.

The PDA was too much for some folks to handle:

Love this rare PDA from Wills and Kate. Of course, have been glued to #RoyalWedding all day. It’s almost time! pic.twitter.com/B7WXABm60o
