Drag Race fans are truly being spoilt this week, and just a day after the 10 British queens were finally revealed we’ve been given our very first look at the debut UK episode – and it’s fair to say there is plenty to get excited about.

A clip of Mama Ru introducing Michelle Visage and guest judges Alan Carr and Andrew Garfield is choc-full of Brit-isms, including crumpet talk (obviously), the Royals and Michelle doing her very best Dick Van Dyke impression.

Alan Carr and Michelle Visage both feature in the series opener.

But our absolute fave moment is when Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield tells Ru he feels like he’s in “gay heaven”.

And Ru’s response? Well, we’ll let the clip below do the talking…

Drag Race UK was announced by the BBC back in January, following the international success of the original US version. It’s been confirmed that the first episode will air on Thursday 3 October.

We are sick to death of you children asking when the show is coming, quite frankly I came here to have a good time and I'm feeling very attacked right now.

Anyway, @BBCThree's #DragRaceUK is coming out at 8pm on October 3rd and will be airing every week! pic.twitter.com/XLfRKg9Zfu

As well as Michelle and Alan, RuPaul will also be joined by Graham Norton, who will rotate judging duties with the Chatty Man star.

There will also be a series of guest judges including former X Factor judge Cheryl, legendary model Twiggy, Hollywood star Andrew Garfield, Chewing Gum’s Michaela Coel, Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix and Spice Girls singer Geri Horner.

Last year’s Strictly champ Stacey Dooley and daytime TV’s Lorraine Kelly will also participate in the British Snatch Game, while Strictly pro AJ Pritchard will team up with his brother and Love Island contestant Curtis to take on a coaching role on the series, joining singer and producer MNEK.

Meanwhile, Michelle Visage has also been confirmed as one of the celebrities competing on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which returns to BBC One next month.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK begins streaming on BBC Three from 3 October.
