Woman Visits The Seven New Wonders Of The World Just Days After Skin Cancer Surgery

She's got a whole new outlook on life.

After falling from a cliff, getting hit by a car and being diagnosed with skin cancer all in one month, Megan Sullivan decided she needed a much-deserved holiday.

On a mission to live life to the full, Sullivan decided she wanted to see something incredible and fulfil a three-year-long dream.

Less than two weeks after having the cancer removed from her head, and with just three hours preparation, she set off to go and see the seven new wonders of the world.

And, rather amazingly, she managed to do it all in just 13 days.

Sullivan said she had a new outlook on life following her diagnosis and that's part of what spurred her on to travel the globe.

Writing on her blog, she said: "I realised my three-year dream of traveling around the world, 10 days before departure with three hours of planning and with some guy I’d known for two weeks."

In total, they visited 12 countries and travelled a staggering 28,211 miles on their quest to see some of the world's most awe-inspiring sights.

She documented the trip on Instagram, as well as on YouTube and her blog.

She has since published a video about it all and has written a selection of tips for others looking to do the same.

Her motto is something we could all learn from: "Live more now."
