Sharon Osbourne has shared her experiences of coronavirus, after testing positive for Covid-19 last month.
In a new interview with her co-stars on US chat show The Talk, Sharon spoke of the symptoms she had while battling Covid-19, and revealed that while she’s now recovered from the illness, she’s still feeling the effects in one big way.
She told her fellow presenters: “I’m feeling really fine now except that I’m still very tired. I nod off at ridiculous times of the day.”
Noting she still “can’t smell very much or taste very much”, Sharon continued: “I’m good. You know, I went through all the symptoms, headache, eye ache, body ache, dizziness, sickness, all of it.”
She also insisted she feels like she “came out very lucky”, adding: “There are people who have it much worse than I got it.
“I just think I came out very lucky. I am very lucky.”
The former X Factor judge revealed last month that she’d been hospitalised due to Covid-19, and was required to self-isolate away from her husband, rock singer Ozzy Osbourne.
Fortunately, Sharon tested negative for coronavirus days before Christmas, meaning she and Ozzy were able to spend the day together.
Posting a photo of a masked Ozzy on Instagram, Sharon wrote: “Got the OK to go home after two negative test results and look at the joy waiting for me!”
“So grateful to be home for the holidays and thank you all so much for your love and support,” she added.
“Stay safe and wishing you the happiest of holidays.”
