Ozzy Osbourne has broken his silence, following reports that he and wife Sharon Osbourne have split, after 33 years of marriage.
Over the weekend, multiple outlets stated that Sharon has called it quits on her marriage, after reportedly discovering that Ozzy had been having an affair.
A number of reports also suggested that the rocker, whose struggles with alcohol and substance abuse problems have been well-documented, had also suffered a relapse.
Ozzy has now spoken out, and while he hasn’t addressed the infidelity claims, he says: "I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time.
On Sunday (8 May), Ozzy and Sharon’s spokesperson confirmed that the Black Sabbath frontman is not currently living in their marital home.
Meanwhile, a source said: “Sharon went ballistic with Ozzy and accused him of having the affair.
“She said she had suspected something had been going on for some time and now had proof.
“Ozzy was extremely sheepish and admitted being close to Michelle [Pugh, celebrity hairdresser].
“It is likely Sharon has discovered calls and possibly meetings.”
